We offer assistance in the form of financial aid like petrol and food vouchers, family accommodation or emergency transport to hospitals. We also provide palliative care assistance.
Stella Bella Foundation runs various programs to offer a positive experience at different stages of a child’s diagnosis, ranging from a rewarding beads program, a children’s centre specialising in caring for ill children, and family support during difficult times.

Organisation working with the Foundation often come to volunteer as a team to help out with meal cook outs, wrapping gifts on Christmas, spending a day at the Children’s centre among other activities. Organising a small amount of monthly donation from your pre-tax salary is known as workplace giving. Workplace giving programs can be set up as CSR initiatives.
Your HR department or account manager can assist you in setting up a giving account and gain benefits. As a donation to a DGR endorsed charity, you would receive tax benefits.

Interested volunteers should express their interest or contact us directly via phone, email or on social media.
Volunteers help during our fundraiser events, at the children’s centre and admin or organisation tasks depending on the need. We can utilise a myriad of skills at our organisation and would be happy to have you on board.

As a charity, we work out of regular 9-5 office hours and would be happy to have you volunteer when you are available. If you would like to volunteer despite working full time, we can surely accommodate you.

Yes, you definitely can. We have corporate organisations, schools and individuals raise funds for us in their own creative ways.
Some of the more successful self-organised fundraisers in recent years have been Bunnings BBQ sizzles, Golf Day Outs and the Tour De Office by Colliers.

Yes, children with less serious or no medical conditions can be enrolled at the Children’s Centre.
We have 2 different units for mainstream day care and specialised day care, and the fees of each child enrolled in the mainstream day care helps fund for the care of ill children in the specialised day care unit.

Hospitals in the ACT, NSW, South Australia and Queensland participate in the Little Star Beads programs, and new hospitals partner with us often to introduce our program in their children’s wards.

No, the Tiny and Little Star Beads Programs are offered for free to all eligible children, and their families admitted to our partner hospitals.
If you are unsure about your hospital, please get in touch with your nurse, the hospital social work department or reach out to us on (02) 6280 9640, 0423 439889 or email us at [email protected] for more information.
We offer beads for medical procedures and tests for free, and there are usually through our hospital partners. If your hospital is not a partner, we can still assist you. Only postage charges apply in case your hospital is not our registered partner.

Our care is best suited for seriously ill children suffering from long-term health issues and illnesses, and not necessarily children with disability.
